News, exciting NPCNA news!
Aside from the redesign of the website being nearly complete, there are some other important news stories to report. Some of it, as it relates to NPCNA can be found below. If you know of some exciting news related to Pediatric Cardiology, a nursing colleague of yours, or something good that we should share here, please let us know!
Program Committee
We will have an area for posters to be displayed at the Fall Conference. The Board of Directors and the Research Committee chairperson will review the posters and announce the winner at the meeting. The winner will receive a FREE registration to the 2009 conference. If you have displayed posters at national or interational meetings or if you have a new poster, share it with your colleagues at our Fall 2009 conference!
Membership Drive and Raffle
The Board of Directors has approved a member-get-a member inititive. Rejoin or renew your membership and bring 5 new members to NPCNA and you are eligible for entry into our raffle for free registration to the next Fall Conference! To make sure you receive credit just have the new members place your name on their application form.
Newsletter Committee
In order to encourage submission and maximize participation, each accepted author will receive $50.00 off the next NPCNA conference they attend. Clinical Exemplars will receive $15.00 off the registration fee.
Research Committee
We are in desperate need of a Research Committee chairman. If you are interested, please contact us. We'll certainly welcome you with open arms.
