NORTHEAST PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY NURSES ASSOCIATION

Hi Everyone,

The Fall Conference at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital in NYC was a
great success despite yet another monsoon. We had 72 participants who
represented 12 of our regional cardiovascular centers plus nurses from
Columbus Children's and Akron Children's Hospitals in Ohio! The
evaluations were very positive as to the topics,speakers, and locations.
Kudos to the conference planners !

This was an election year and I would like to welcome the 2006-2008 BOD.
We are fortunate to have several new members of the Board as well as
returning members.

2006 will be a busy year for the BOD as we revamp the website and make
it more accessible and interactive for member; create a user friendly
distribution and mail list; plan for the 2007 conference, and orient 2 new
board members to their roles so they can assume leadership positions in
2007.

The Fall 2007 Conference will be held in Boston,Massachusetts. The
Program Committee is confirming the location,date, and speakers. Please
watch the website for updates.

Membership Renewal starts January 1, 2007. Please watch your mail for
the renewal notice.
